adult mission trip: may 31-June 3

kerrville, TX

Join us as we head to the Kerrville area to do some disaster relief work with Global Empowerment Mission. We will be put to work doing debris and brush cleanup, fence repair, river and property restoration, material hauling and light demo or site preparation. We will stay at Light on the Hill at Mt. Wesley, where Mercy Chefs is feeding volunteers all summer. More importantly, we’ll be putting our faith into action as hope is renewed in the beautiful Texas Hill Country!

  • GEM will know our exact project in late May. Possible work includes debris and brush cleanup, fence repair, river and property restoration, material hauling, light demo or site preparation.
  • We are staying in Heritage Hill Cabin … 4-twin beds & 1 private bath per room … There are seven rooms, so we can take up to 28 people
  • We will need to store breakfast and snack items in coolers and totes, as we do not have access to a kitchen. Mercy Chefs is using the main Light on the Hill kitchen.
  • Eating at locally-owned restaurants is missional, as it helps the local economy continue to recover.
