Preschool Teachers
Noah's Ark Preschool @ Central Christian Church

We are looking for a few loving people to teach in our preschool with infants, toddlers and young children beginning in August for the Fall 2021 school year. Noah's Ark Preschool is a licensed Christian preschool and parents day out that is looking for teachers that are passionate about the growth, development and safety of our children. We provide a Christian environment in an extended family atmosphere. As a teacher you are to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our center. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.

  • Follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material;
  • Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises;
  • Provide continuous supervision to children enrolled in the center and ensure the health and safety of children;
  • Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing, etc) to enhance the child’s abilities;
  • Maintain classrooms and play areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition and set up rooms and areas for various activities such as lunch, naps, games, etc.;
  • Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track;
  • Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children;
  • Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord;
  • Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action;
  • Collaborate with colleagues;
  • Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the TDFPS Minimum Standards and all center policies;
  • Monitor children for signs of child abuse and report incidents of suspected abuse to appropriate authorities;
  • Maintain current knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Development.


  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)


  • Methodical and creative;
  • Patience, flexibility, and love for children;
  • Strong communication and time management skills;
  • Certificate in first aid and CPR;
  • Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting children or heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking;
  • Must be able to work safely in an environment containing biological conditions which may be unhealthful or hazardous (such as bodily fluids, waste, germs, and childhood diseases);
  • Must pass fingerprint clearance test for all appropriate agencies (such as FBI, Department of Justice, and Child Abuse Index Services).
