Children's ministry at Central Christian Church is committed to helping children learn how deep, wide, high and long the love of God in Jesus Christ is. Children's Ministry includes all ministries for children who are 5th grade and younger. We also have a strong emphasis on equipping parents as the primary source of faith development for their children.

Sunday Small Group at 9:30 am
Age-appropriate, lively and engaging Bible lessons taught by a team of caring adults. We take seriously the Scriptural charge to help parents "raise children in the way they should go. (Proverbs 22:6)

Sunday WOrship - We are an intergenerational Church
Children are ALWAYS welcome in the sanctuary during worship. We want children to have experiences with their families during "Big Church" so that they can learn how to fully worship God with a intergenerational church family. However, we believe that each family should make the choice about their children's participation in worship. For those families who need it, we provide a nursery/preschool opportunity for children from birth - age 4.

Camps & Retreats
Children of all ages have summer camp opportunities via our Disciples of Christ church camp, Disciples Crossing, in Athens, Texas. VBS (Vacation Bible School)
VBS is one of our favorite weeks of the year! There isn't another VBS anywhere like CCCWaco's VBS! Each year, we write and curate a one-of-a-kind experience for children of the Waco area. It's filled with fun, faith, & friendship!
